Great game, though online could be better. Would like the option to play a friend. Ranking bit simple too. Winner takes all often results in player that manages to stay out of trouble at start winning due to other players wiping each other out. Tried demo on pc too. iPhone version is better:)

...one cant really tell the size of ones own/hostile fleets as there are far fewer ships now than there used to be. besides the servers are quite empty now, probably due to the time limit which is an idea I generally appreciate, however, it might be a little bit too quick...

Planung for five years now. This Game is as awesome as ever. ;-) +++++ This game is awesome. Fast paced strategy action, perfectly outbalanced computer opponents. And its always fun to get your ass kicked von an online game. Absolute must-buy for strategy fans! And here are some suggestions for making it even better: 1. Better sounds, the actuals ones mostly suck :-) 2. For a real tournament online, you need constructed maps with identical planet ressources. The random maps are always giving one player an advance by having better ressources. 3. Would be nice to save and share maps 4. Map editor(for tounaments) would be great. Really good stufff, Phil! One of the first games I bought and still my favorite. So simple you can get hooked on your first game, and so complex that youll never get tired of it. The best part I how convenient it is. I can play it when I have just a few seconds to kill, or I can spend hours on it. Try the lite version. However the 3way game against the computer is the only mode I play single player now, and of course the multiplayer game is amazing.

Ive had this game for over a month now and despite buying and playing others, this one by far has the most play time and is my favourite. Well worth the $. Great job on this app!!!

After the update, this is the best iPhone/iPod game you can get. I play it almost everyday. I rarely play another other games on my iPhone now. The drawback now is there arent enough people to play with on Multiplayer mode. It is not the programmers fault but if he opens this up as free app for a week I think it wouldve helped.

For all those who enjoy galcon lite and are thinking of buying this, do it, its way better than the lite version in so many ways including the addicting online mode!

I have spent HOURS playing this game online, it is suprisingly addictive and the online play brings a great perspective!

Galcon is brilliant in its execution, simple controls, simple concept. What makes it so great is the flexibility with which you can execute your strategies. Do you rush and hope to take out your enemy? Do you build up a massive force and slowly creep across the map? Or do you wait until your two foes are engaged in combat and sneakily crush them both as they focus on each other. I am not a big fan of strategy games in general, but I find Galcon to be greatly enjoyable. The quick matches, relatively active online play, and global scoreboard make it well worth to pick up for a few minutes here and there. Well worth it at 4.99, and a must buy at 2.99.

Matches are quick, intense, and fun. The best strategy game Ive found on the store. Keeps you coming back for more.

Of the 50 or so apps I own, this is the one I play most!!!

I didnt care for the lite version but decided to give it another chance. Im happy I did! 4 player online is addictive, fast, and fun, with excellent replay value. Easy to learn and tough to master, it will keep you coming back for just one more game! Id like to see a couple more online options like chatting between rounds, friend lists, tournaments and rankings, or 2v2 co-op battles. For the price though, its a steal!
